The authorities in UAE have warned Nigerians traveling to Dubai to be aware of their security after a visiting tourist Bolanle Olofinjana went missing after she was lured to the country by an alleged gang of human traffickers who then employed her as a slave worker.
Bolanle Monsurat Olofinjana, with passport number A06971XXX, has reportedly disappeared in Dubai after she was defrauded and tricked into believing that she was being relocated to Dubai. She was allegedly invited to come on a visit in other to secure a profitable employment by a certain Madam Agnes with the collusion of another agent located in Nigeria simply referred to as Mr Lanre.
Unfortunately, on her arrival to the UAE, she was handed over to a Middle-Eastern family resident in Dubai, who took her into their possession and restrained her from leaving. Bolanle who is said to be contact, is however unable to provide the details of her current location, this is a result of her inability to read and understand the Arabic language, although she still has access to the internet, via a mobile device.
Madam Agnes said: “She came through our office and we know she is in a proper place. She is where she’s supposed to be.”
When pressed further about the actual location of the girl, Madam Agnes repeatedly reiterated that she was with her sponsor. The agent Mr Lanre, whose stated office address is N0 6, Marina Street, Lagos, location that simply doesn’t exist, is now at large.
